This egg pictured here was blocked by the egg in front of it due to the egg in front of it turning sideways. Due to the egg turning sideways it blocked things up a couple days, and both eggs were calcified twice. Beneath the extra calcification on this one was the normal eggs minus most its usual patterns. I will post a picture of the egg that had everything blocked up in the comments. Mind you this female lays perfectly normal good eggs, but when you lay an egg everyday of your life, sometimes there will be mishaps. ♠️🧬🐣💥✨

This boy is over a year old. I call him 1 1/2 eye W***y. A eye was damaged from fighting, but it healed up well. Reasons like this is why I started culling out my overly aggressive birds. I don’t mind them establishing a pecking order, or fussing about who’s boss here and there. But if one becomes savage, and does real damage they gotta go. They tend to go for the eyes and ears as well so the most vulnerable parts of their head. ♠️🧬💥🐣✨

Got a surprise hatchling Roux from one of my mixed feeder pens. The female breeders in these pens are 8-9 months old now, and never produced one. So I’m thinking it was from one of the new males I added but no clue which one. These particular racks are feeders only, so I don’t keep track of their genetics. So sometimes you get surprises like so. ♠️🧬💥🐣✨
