Did you know that when pigs are allowed to express their natural instincts they do incredible things. Lillians instincts are driving her to make a nest for farrowing. Nothing man-made can come close to the perfect selection and gentle placement of her gathered materials. She worked tirelessly for several hours in 95 degree heat so she could make a nest for her babies. Another God- given miracle of nature.

Meet our sweet Berkshire sow, Lillian. Even through this extreme South Georgia heat she is being the best momma to her eight littles. We will keep you posted on their adventures.

Our horse trailer is a valuable asset to the farm. We use it mostly to haul feed, 1.5 tons at a time, from our specialty feed supplier almost two hours away. A new "rattle" prompted a close look at the frame and what was going on was scarry. It would have never made another safe trip in the condition it was in. We are so grateful to Duck's Welding Service out of Blackshear, for taking a real mess of a problem and fixing that trailer up better than new.
