Today has been a rough day on the farm. Started out this morning with triplets being born to our goat. One didn’t make it and the runt out of the three we are having to help it out right now. We done everything possible to help the baby, the vet said there was nothing else to do. The hard reality of farming is sometime no matter how hard you try there’s nothing you can do.

Our first usda hogs have been dropped off! we got up at 6 this morning and drove a hour and a half to get these pigs to the butcher for their appointment. we’re excited to get the meat back and get inspected so we can get our permit and start selling by the cut so if you’ve been waiting for us to start selling individual cuts keep a eye out on the page, we should be posting when we are able to sell the meat and our pricing sheet very soon!

Alright y’all, we’ve got plenty of feeder piglets looking for new homes! $50 a piece for males and $75 females, we are moving around a bunch of stock and getting everything ready for winter. Next week we will have our first usda hogs going to the butcher so if you’ve been waiting to buy pork by the pack we should have that available within the next month and we will have a price list available as soon as we get the meat back. We look forward to selling to everyone by the cut!
