A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at Kensico Dam Plaza for one of the most anticipated events of the Westchester Wine & Food Festival. From incredible burgers and cold beers to great energy and friendly competition, this year's event did not disappoint.

Special thanks to our judges ā€” Mel Landano, Oscar Flores, Ereka Vetrini, and Pat LaFrieda ā€” for taking on the tough task of tasting more than 20 burgers from some of the area's best restaurants and burger spots.

The 16th Westchester Magazine Wine & Food Festival wraps up today, and itā€™s been such a pleasure to be involved once again. Over the next little while Iā€™ll be sharing photos and videos recapping all of itā€”starting here with this past Thursdayā€™s Burgers, Beer & Barrels at Kensico Dam Plaza.

What a spirited night at Party on the Pier at Playland as part of Westchester Magazineā€™s Wine & Food Festival! šŸø

Congratulations to Alexia Iuni of Invito Restaurant, winner of this yearā€™s Bartender Shake-Off with her ā€œHerenciaā€ cocktail. The competition was full of creativity, flavor, personality, and just the right amount of cocktail-theater sparkle.

A huge round of applause to all of the talented competitors: Derrick Chang of The Pelican Room, Yocely Ochoa of 1881 Kitchen Table, and Mariana Rodrigues of Goosefeather. Thank you as well to our wonderful hosts Daniel Posner of Grapes The Wine Company and Kate Schlientz of IntoxiKate, and to the judges who had the deliciously difficult job of choosing a winner.

It was such a fun and memorable evening celebrating Westchesterā€™s food, beverage, and hospitality scene, all while supporting the Westchester Parks Foundation.

A huge thank you to Kevin Zraly, legendary wine educator, author, and host of the Connoisseurs Tent seminars, and Daniel Posner, owner of Grapes The Wine Company, the festivalā€™s official wine partner and wine purveyor. Their knowledge, humor, and generosity have helped make Westchester Magazineā€™s Wine & Food Festival such a beloved tradition through the years.

And what a night it has been! Thank you to everyone who joined us today for Burgers, Beer & Barrels at Kensico Dam Plaza, celebrating incredible local restaurants, craft beverages, and the search for the best burger in Westchester.

The festival fun continues with the Wine Collectorsā€™ Dinner on Friday, June 12 at The Kittle House Inn, followed by the signature Grand Tasting Village on Saturday, June 13 at Kensico Dam Plaza, featuring chef demos, tastings from 40+ local restaurants, 200+ wines and spirits, and the Connoisseurs Tent with Kevin Zraly.

Proceeds benefit the Westchester Parks Foundation, supporting the parks and open spaces that make Westchester such a special place to gather.
