Hard to believe that Back Meadow Farm Danny Boy has been with us for 7 breeding seasons, though he did sit out 2023. He has really matured into a handsome buck. I see the resemblance to his sire, Sugar Moon RB Romeo Santos *B, and his grandsire, Sugar Moon O Rough Ryder *B (+pending). Great length and depth of body. Nice level topline. A friendly personality even in rutt. Danny will be breeding 6 does for us this year.

2025 Breeding Plan- Mini-Nubian

Ivy Acres JW Roulette (Mini Love Farm The Joker's Wild-P x Genoa Meadows Pippi Long Ears) will be our mini-Nubian herdsire for 2025 kids. Roulette is a polled purebred MDGA registered mini-Nubian. This will be his 2nd breeding season with us. Pics of his 2024 offspring available upon request.

ADGA/AGS registered Nigerian dwarf doe.
5 years old. Polled. She has qualified for her milk star in butterfat in 2021 ( pending). She earned her star while being milked once a day while being out on pasture with no additional supplements other than grain. She is milkstand trained and walks well on a lead. She has been machine milked. She is currently dry and open. Can be bred prior to leaving to BusyB Goat Farm KF Dark Moon. Reason for relocation- with my age and related health issues, I need to maintain a smaller milking herd. She deserves to go where she will be utilized to her full potential. 2️⃣5️⃣0️⃣

HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED HOW WE MAKE OUR SOAPS?
Join us at the West Hartford Farmer's Market next Tuesday July 16 from 3:30 pm-6:30 pm. We will be doing a demonstration of cold process soapmaking from oils and milk to soap in the mold. Basics will be covered and resources provided. Questions will be answered to the best of our ability.

Plenty of wonderful products will be available for purchase.

I have a Simple Pulse milker looking for a new parlor. Set up for 2 goats at a time. Standard and Nigerian inflations. Silicon milk lines. Extra claws. Plastic tote that holds 2x1 gallon jars. Original gallon jars plus extra 1/2 gallon and gallon jars. Works with ball or Mason jars. Extra spare vacuum pump. 2 1/2 gallonbulk bucket included. Older model purchased new in 2019. Used for milking my Nigerian dwarf, Nubian and mini-Nubian does in 2019, 2021 and part of 2022. System works fine, but could use a good cleaning as it has been stored in the barn. I no longer need a set up this large and have changed to a smaller more portable system that can be used offgrid if needed. $1000 or BRO. PM for more info.
