🌺 Have you ever met roselle?
This basket came straight out of our garden at White Springs Beans & Berries Farm. Roselle is a hibiscus grown for these deep-red calyxes. Some folks call it "Florida cranberry," and it makes beautiful tart tea, jam, syrup, pie and even w**e.

It produces right in the peak of fall were in North Florida, and it's got us dreaming: what if we planted enough for a roselle U-Pick next fall? 🧺 Picture an autumn afternoon in the field filling your own basket, then heading home to brew hibiscus tea or put up a batch of jam.

What a beautiful weekend to get some work done outside.

Our goal is to open the farm to the public in the coming year and the brick path through the kitchen garden path is such a lovely place to stroll.

But the garden got a little overgrown in the summer and its time to clean up, re-mulch, and compost.

Gardeners and plant lovers of White Springs, get excited! This little colorful shed is the new Seed Lab at the White Springs Beans & Berries Farm. A hub for future gardening activities, workshops, and events.

We are painting it up with traditional southern lime-milk based paints which are not only a heritage technique but also eco-friendly and sustainable.

The blueberries are finally here, but that's not the only news on our farm. We have set up two beautiful campsites and have welcomed our first campers to the property.

And now with all this good rain we've been having our garden, grapes, and grass are growing fast!
