It’s here! The very first egg from our teenagers, we lovingly call the teens yellow house farm specials because they come completely from our farm...conceived, hatched, raised, and now laying! We are most excited because this little egg is the beginning of the end of the egg shortage. They will be small at first yet they are packed will all the goodness you have come to love.

I was outback this morning enjoying the happy noises our chickens, turkeys, and ducks were busy making. I could only guess at what they were saying to one another. As I pondered how blessed we are to be able communicate, I was reminded that the ability to talk is a gift, and how a word can be a jewel or a bullet. Words can form a beautiful array of color and light, or can wound and kill. Psalms 141:3 Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; Keep watch over the door of my lips.
