With the kids out of the house, we could rekindle the freedom and romance of the early years, spend countless hours gazing at one another, taking long walks in the park, and maybe traveling more . . . or we could do something else. It took out about 30 (nano) seconds to decide on something else - starting a small business. Being born and raised on a farm and ranch, Barry had a great appreciation for the hardworking lifestyle known to many in White Sulphur Springs. With its high elevation and cool evening temperatures, the area grows high quality wheat and malting barley. What kind of business could we start that would celebrate the hard working life style of farming and ranching in our community while utilizing locally grown products? A brewery of course! And, what if we malted the wheat and barley ourselves? There's nothing like enjoying a b**r with family and friends, even better, if it's locally brewed with local ingredients. We started researching, visiting other breweries, putting together a business plan, and experimenting with many differents types of b**r, and here 2 Basset Brewery was born. About the name: We have two delightful basset hounds named Stanley and LeRoy. Basset hounds are friendly, easy going, sociable, and they love to relax. Most of all, they make us laugh. So it seemed to us that people enjoy sharing a b**r with family and friends for some of the very same reasons that we enjoy basset hounds.

Our Tangerine Cream Hard Seltzer is new on tap and Barry just released a fresh batch of our popular "Bassito" Raspberry Hefeweizen!

Will they count toward your daily recommended servings of fruit or help ward off scurvy? Probably not, but we will continue our research.

Archie and Ace brought their people in to visit us yesterday. Just like Lance, Archie and Ace started life out at BeautyBea's Flathead Lake Bassets! ❤️ 🐾. We love our special basset guests! This was so much fun! The kids were awesome and Shannon and the library staff have made our library such a welcoming space. Lance loved meeting the kiddos and is looking forward to another library visit this evening.
