It's time to start thinking about honey!
Spicer Bees offers all the tools you need to extract honey, as well as a full extraction service and equipment rentals.
Honey extraction service:
Fee: $25 per honey super + cost of honey buckets
Bring honey supers without bees, one 5 gallon bucket per 2 supers for honey, and 1 extra bucket if you want the wax cappings.
Extraction generally takes 1-2 days depending on volume
Extractor rental:
Fee: $20 per day + $40 deposit
2 frame manual extractor only
Deposit will be applied to rental upon return of cleaned equipment (wash with water so equipment is clean and not sticky).
Extraction kit rental:
Fee: $40 per day + $80 deposit
Full kit includes: 2 frame extractor, uncapping tub, serrated knife, uncapping fork, and strainer
Deposit will be applied to rental upon return of cleaned equipment (all tools washed clean of honey and wax).
