Some of you knew I retired from teaching in June, and I kept getting the same question.

“How does it feel to be retired?”

I kept replying to ask me at the end of August when my friends were heading back to the classroom.

So it is the end of August and I can say that it has finally hit and being retired from teaching feels great! I get to spend my mornings harvesting these beauties for my csa members instead of revising class lists and watching bloodborne pathogen videos

Wishing all my teacher friends a wonderful year! You will find me in the rows of flowers, or at 10 am yoga

Anyone else want a do over for this season? 🙋‍♀️

Spring was amazing but the late frost in June then 3 weeks of rain now forest fires so close. Those poor people in Spokane, Canada, Idaho, and here the Skillet fire is 15 miles west of us. These fires all converging to walking outside and the air is like being in the middle of a camp fire.

We could use some more of that June rain now 😥
