The SpiritWorks Herb Farm produces artisan-quality, certified organic, hand-crafted medicinal and culinary herbs and farm internships to learn about growing and using herbs. Our garden goal is to develop a diverse expanded season organic food source, that has hard to find valuable heirlooms, health boosting foods and near extinct medicinal herbs. All this with a flavor of functional rustic homeste

ading that embraces an eye for balance, beauty and whimsy. We offer an opportunity for learning how to do homesteading and agricultural projects with what is available or can easily and inexpensively be found or recycled - embracing the yankee value of “Use it up, Wear it Out, Make it Do or Do Without.”

Our natural and organic agricultural practices incorporate companion planting, raised beds, intensive wide row planting and design with function and beauty, like an artist using plants for paints and the land for a canvas. I have been gardening most of my life in Northern New England and am newly researching and experimenting with what grows well here in Montana and incorporating some newly learned permaculture concepts. There is a healing sanctuary on site and exposure to the healing arts offered here is available to those interested. I am willing to teach and offer health building resources that will stretch and expand your wellness and vitality. A link to my healing arts practice will be provided to serious candidates. Our ten acre property has walking paths through out is about midway between downtown Whitefish and downtown Kalispell, Montana. Outdoor recreational and cultural opportunities here are diverse and awesome! This agricultural venture began on this land in 2014 and the perennial plantings are now well established. We have a Retreat Center that sleeps 16 in 9 rooms and a Wellness Clinic on site, featuring Craniosacral Therapy, modern healing technologies incorporating infrared and pulsed magnetic resonance. Though paused in 2020, we hope to return to offer our educational programs for sustainable regenerative agriculture and health building with herbs and naturopathic me
