We had a terrific time at Bushy's Meat Market / Maple Leaf Meats when we opened this year's Wisconsin Youth Deer Hunt with a group from Kicking Bear Ministry of the La Crosse area. 🦌

They brought their harvest in to The Processing Center, where Codey & Kaci showed the youth hunters and mentors what happened with their deer once they were here. Including a LIVE demonstration on how we cut up deer! 🤯 The youngsters had a good time and asked a lot of great questions!

It was so nice to see such a passionate group enjoying the great outdoors. And we loved seeing the looks and smiles on everyone's faces! 😊

Thank you to Kicking Bear Ministry for asking us to be a part of your day. We hope you enjoyed it!

We got ANOTHER generous donation for our youth hunt drawing! 🦌🗳️

Dina Aasen from Boiler Room Coffee had reached out to us, and wanted to give a little something to our kiddos! ☺️ A dirty soda mix PLUS a $50 gift card to use WHENEVER!

Boiler Room Coffee ☕️ is a pull up and order business who does specialty lattes, drink mixes, AND breakfast items. With WONDERFUL customer service and a wide variety menu for all ages! AND she has GOATS 🐐 to go say hi to!

HUGE shoutout goes to Holtens for getting our Mossberg .243 ready for this weekend youth hunt door prize! 🦌

They even were kind enough to throw in some hats and vests to donate for some door prizes as well without being asked! 🤩 Simply just a “we are happy to help!”
