Mazie and Nettie are 8 wks old and itā€™s been 10 days since I started integrating them with the older hens. They have learned how to navigate the ramp from coop to run, eat and drink from same buckets as their sisters, basically learning the ropes. Everyone has to eat grower feed for a few weeks before transferring back to a lay feed, young chickens canā€™t handle too much calcium in their diet yet. Hereā€™s a glimpse from this eveningā€¦

Itā€™s always amazing how fast chicks grow and change! These little ones are 24 days old, able to fly a few feet off the ground, eating some scrambled eggs, and feeling the urge to ā€œdust batheā€ all the timešŸ˜‚
