The freezers are officially restocked and Daniel is currently loading the trailer. We will be back TOMORROW at The Owensboro Regional Farmers' Market. 🎉🥳

Unfortunately, I was not home today to bake, so we will not have any fresh milled breads or muffins in our booth tomorrow, you can drown your sorrows over a D2 Meats ribeye. 😉

How August felt: A blur.

Because we told you we'd be back at The Owensboro Regional Farmers' Market the first week of September I wanted to update that we will not be able to be back at the market until September 26th.

You will be able to find us at the market Sept. 26, Oct. 10, 17, 24, 31 and Nov. 7.

Outside of the market you can always find our beef in the freezer at Gordon's in Philpot! We're doing our best keeping it stocked for y'all, but we are so appreciative of how hard everyone has been shopping it the last month. Seriously, thank you!

We should be completely restocked by September 19th and are planning on having a shop the freezer day at the farm that day. So put that in your calendar, more details will be posted closer to the date.

My house is very much still decorated for the 4th. I’m team savor each season, but I have to admit, this weather has me extremely tempted to bake fresh milled pumpkin chocolate chip muffins for Saturday’s market.

Anyone’s interest piqued by that?

With that, my weekly reminder, we will be at the market on Saturday (8/25) from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Next Saturday (8/1) we will also be at market, but it will be the last Saturday our schedule can swing until September. So please come stock up on beef this Saturday and next!

Back to this week, in the fresh milled section of our booth we will have sandwich loaves, mini banana chocolate chip loaves. …and possibly, hopefully a surprise or two.

We will be at the farmers’ market tomorrow, however, our trailer will be pulling out at 11 a.m. for a t-ball game.

So, please come early!

Other reasons to come early:
1. We’re getting low on many of our cuts, our restock is not until September—so shop with the next month of beef needs in mind.
2. We’ll have fresh milled loaves, but only half our normal amount. My baking time is cut down today. Sorry, y’all.
3. …and maybe the most important, the earlier you come, the less hot it is.

Late night post, but we WILL be back at The Owensboro Regional Farmers' Market tomorrow morning.

Our schedule after tomorrow will be a little all over the place due to a month of t-ball games coming up. But we’re working on figuring out what that looks like.

Till then, swing by tomorrow 8-12 and stock up on beef!

Just a heads up, we will NOT be at The Owensboro Regional Farmers' Market this Saturday. We will see you back, Saturday June 20th for Father’s Day weekend at the market.

P.S. Your dad called, he wants a tomahawk steak, not a coffee mug this year, message us, we’ll reserve it for you. 😉

Today’s beef subscription boxes are off to Montana and Fargo, North Dakota. 🥩📦

The number one question I’ve been asked since I posted about shipping subscriptions last time is, “I want to do this, but I’m local, can I just pick up?”

Yes!! Actually, I’ll bring it to your front porch myself.

I very quietly launched local subscription boxes in January to the website to see if anyone would find them on their own, and a couple of you did.

I currently have space for four more local Rancher’s Choice Monthly box and five spots open for our monthly ground beef subscription.

Our garden lettuce patch looking like an accidental American flag — 🇺🇸 250, y’all.

The farm stand will be closing at the end of today in anticipation of the rainy week ahead.

In lieu of that, all plants are marked down to $1.00 today.* Come clear it out for me!
