🐄💙 A very special arrival at Chickenfield Farm! 💙🐄

Yesterday, we welcomed our newest bull calf to the farm!

After spending his first few hours resting in the shade and getting his strength, this little guy was already up nursing and following mom around the pasture. Watching a newborn calf take those first wobbly steps never gets old.

There’s something special about seeing new life on the farm. It’s a reminder of why we do what we do and a glimpse into the future of our herd.

Today’s pepper harvest is one for the books.

From crisp sweet banana peppers and spicy jalapeños to beautiful green peppers, the garden is producing in a big way this season. And just look at those bell peppers…they’re nearly as big as a hand! 👋🫑

There’s nothing better than walking through the garden and finding vegetables that have been nurtured from seed to harvest right here on the farm. Every pepper you see in these photos was grown with plenty of sunshine, care, and a little patience.
