thinking about trying something this season at Goshen hill processing! when it comes to processing deer we hear a lot of 8 didn't get all my meat, are you sure that I got my deer back! this season I'm thinking of having some Sundays where a limited number of customers can come in and see how deer are processed from start to finish! not to prove a point on my behalf just to give the hunter the understanding of the process and how shot placement and size plays the part in how much meat goes in your freezer. sometimes people just don't understand how much damage a bullet does to a animal. I can't speak for other processors but I can mine. we will not put something in your bag we wouldn't be willing to eat and I dang sure dont want your meat. I'm in this business to make money not to have stacks of deer in my freezer that I have to give away at the end of the season because it wasn't picked up. we also have enough hunters in the family that supply us more than enough! it blows my mind that a hunter will spend so much money, shoot the first deer they see "if it brown it's down" and the accuse the processors of taking there meat! again only speaking for my plant. here it is all in a nut shell!!! I want all the business i can get,, BUT if you feel you have to question my integrity/ call me a thief. learn to do it yourself or take it to someone else. happy hunting!!
