Garlic havest
Some hardneck music variety and some softneck variety originated from Costco cooking garlic, and a few onion size elephant garlic bulbs. Once the dirts are dry, I will tie and hang them for curing.

Zinnias are popping up like colorful buttons.
Early in the Spring, I sprinkled thousands of zinia seeds along the dog fence line and practically did nothing since.
I love the lazy way of gardening.

Roses and roses
Her name is 'Princess Chalene de Monaco'.
Beautiful color and shape and the scent, what else you can ask for a rose.

I love the time when sweet peas start blooming and covering both sides of my backyard fence. I want my fence to be 10 ft high.

Dahlia planting is done! 👏👏👏 To be accurate, my hubby, two grown-up children, and I finished planting over 150 dahlia tubers over the weekend across four garden areas around my property. Most of the hard work was done by my hubby and kids, including digging out grass and overgrown weeds, tilling the soil, and putting up fencing to keep the chickens away from the freshly planted plants.

First bed: west fence-in garden, 40 dahlias in the same color palette - purple and lavender.

Second bed: west fence-out garden, about 60 dahlias in pink and white, and a few random ones.

Third bed: southwest fence-out garden, unknown numbers of dahlias, mostly orange and whatever fits there.

Forth bed: southeast-out bed: whatever still lefts and IDC- i dont care- tubers were dumped and buried in. My 23 seedlings were all crammed in a small corner of the bed.
It is Done. Thank you family!

Now just wait and enjoy the harmonic chaos of summer flowers and insects, fogetting all about the hard work we put into it.
