Some of my favorite memories weren't planned.
They happened in between.
A warm hug between two people who love each other.
A glass of wine shared while watching the breeze move through the lavender.
Quiet conversations that lasted longer than expected.
Hands harvesting side by side.
Laughter drifting through the fields.
Moments of connection, to nature, to loved ones, and sometimes even to ourselves.

Over the years, I've realized that people don't just come for the lavender.
They come for the feeling.

The chance to slow down.
To put away distractions.
To create memories that don't fit inside a calendar or a to-do list.
I've been lucky enough to witness thousands of these little moments, and every season they remind me why I love this farm so much.

If you're looking for a place to reconnect, breathe deeply, and create a few beautiful memories of your own, we'd love to welcome you.

She never left the fields without one.

Every day during harvest, my firend would choose a favorite lavender.

Not a whole bouquet.
Just one stem.
Sometimes it was a deep purple variety. Sometimes a pale pink English lavender. Whatever caught her eye that day would find its way into her pocket.

And there it would stay.

All day long.
Through harvesting, sorting, walking the fields, and tending the plants.
Almost like carrying a small reminder of what she loved.
Three years later, I still haven't forgotten this photograph.
Maybe because it captures something I love about lavender.
The flowers aren't trying to impress anyone.
They're simple.

Quiet.

Yet somehow they make people slow down, notice beauty, and form little rituals of appreciation.

A stem tucked into a pocket.
A fragrance carried through the day.
A moment of gratitude hidden in plain sight.
Sometimes the smallest things become the memories that stay with us the longest.

And every time I see this picture, I'm reminded that the lavender wasn't the only thing growing in these fields.

So was our appreciation for the simple gifts nature gives us every day. 💜

🌿 HOW TO TAKE A PERFECT LAVENDER CUTTING

✂️ Step 1: Find the Right Stem
Choose a healthy stem that is green, flexible, and not flowering. Avoid old woody stems and avoid stems with blooms.

✂️ Step 2: Make the Cut
Using clean, sharp pruners, cut a 4–6 inch section just below a leaf node (the point where leaves emerge from the stem).

✂️ Step 3: Expose the Stem
Gently remove the leaves from the bottom 2–3 inches of the cutting. This exposed section is where new roots will develop.

✂️ Step 4: Final Preparation
Leave a small cluster of leaves at the top and remove any flower buds or side shoots so the plant can focus all its energy on producing roots.

🌱 That's it! Your lavender cutting is now ready for propagation.

The closer you look, the more you discover...Most people arrive thinking lavender is just one plant.
Purple flowers.
A lovely fragrance.
A beautiful field.

I thought the same thing.
Then I started meeting the plants one by one.

Some bloom deep violet. Others blush silver, pink, white, or even soft yellow. Some carry a sweet floral fragrance. Others smell fresh, herbal, citrusy, or rich in essential oils.

English lavender is often prized for culinary use and sweet fragrance.
Lavandin grows taller, produces more oil, and fills the air with a stronger aroma.
And that's only the beginning.

Today, our farm is home to 147 varieties, each with its own personality, color, fragrance, bloom time, and purpose.

The beauty of lavender is that it appears so simple from a distance.
Yet the closer you get, the more complex it becomes.
Maybe that's why I love watching visitors slow down.

To touch a bloom.
To smell the differences.
To notice the colors.
To discover that what seemed like one plant is actually a world of its own.

And every year, I find something new to appreciate.

It started with a picnic blanket...and somehow turned into one of those afternoons you never want to end.

A simple charcuterie board.
A sandwich packed from home.
Fresh fruit, good company, and the fragrance of lavender drifting through the air.

I've watched families celebrate birthdays, friends catch up for hours, couples share quiet conversations, and visitors simply slow down long enough to enjoy a meal surrounded by nature.

There is something special about eating outdoors in the lavender fields.

No reservations.
No rush.
Just good food, beautiful scenery, and time together.

If you're planning a visit this season, feel free to bring your favorite picnic lunch and make an afternoon of it.

One small favor: please pack out everything you bring in and take your trash with you so the fields stay beautiful for everyone who visits after you.

We can't wait to share another lavender season with you. 💜

Some artists came for the lavender....and stayed for the quiet.
Over the years, I've watched painters set up their easels between the rows, chasing the subtle differences between purple, blue, silver, and green. Some spend hours studying a single bloom. Others simply sit and take in the fragrance, the breeze, and the stillness.

There is something special about creating art surrounded by nature.

The colors seem richer.
The inspiration comes easier.
And for a little while, the outside world becomes very quiet.

If you've painted, sketched, photographed, or simply found inspiration here before, we'd love to welcome you back this season.

Bring your brushes, your camera, your journal, or just yourself.

The lavender will be waiting.

Who knew purple could have so many shades? That thought crosses my mind every season.

From a distance, the fields look like a sea of purple.

But step closer, and you'll discover soft lavender, deep violet, silvery blue, rosy purple, and colors that seem to change with every hour of sunlight.

And then there are the surprises.

White lavender.
Yellow lavender.
Green-toned lavender.

Each variety has its own fragrance, personality, bloom time, and beauty.

I've watched visitors wander through the rows, slowly forgetting about their phones and schedules. They begin to notice the colors, run their fingers across the blooms, breathe deeply, and reconnect with something simple.

Nature has a way of slowing us down.

What looks simple at first glance often reveals incredible complexity when we take the time to truly see it.

Perhaps that's one of the greatest gifts of the lavender fields.
Not just the flowers.

But the reminder to pause, look closer, and appreciate the beauty that has been there all along.

She couldn't pick a favorite. Can you? She arrived with her favorite hat, her favorite bag, and a plan to spend a relaxing day in the lavender fields.

What she didn't expect was how many beautiful moments would unfold.
Then her mom joined her.
And somehow the day became even more special.
The laughter came easily.
The conversations lasted longer.
The photos kept piling up.

And before they knew it, they were trying to choose a favorite picture from a day filled with memories.

I think that's what I love most about seeing families visit the farm.
It's never really about the photos.
It's about creating moments together that you'll smile about years later.
A mother and daughter.
A beautiful day.
A little lavender.

And a reminder that some of life's best memories are the simplest ones.
Now we need your help.
Which photo is your favorite? 💜

I was standing in a sea of lavender...and suddenly it hit me.
When I first bought this farm, I thought lavender was just purple lavender.
One plant. One color. One scent.
Then I started walking the fields.

A deeper purple here. A silvery lavender there. Sweet fragrances. Camphor fragrances. Some bloom early, some bloom late. Some are perfect for bouquets, some for essential oil, some for culinary use.

Today our farm is home to 147 varieties of lavender.

And the funny thing is, that's only a tiny glimpse of what's out there. Across the world, there are hundreds of named cultivars and countless selections grown for different colors, fragrances, climates, and purposes.

Standing here with my harvest hat, surrounded by blooms, I realized how much beauty can exist in something I once thought was so simple.

Every season these plants remind me that there is always more to learn, more to discover, and more to be grateful for.

And somehow, I get to call this my office. 💜
