New stickers for the homestead!!! 🎉🎉🎉

We have baby chicks, baby ducks, a new litter of homestead kittens on the way, baby guineas and freedom ranger meat chicks coming soon, and hopefully we'll be adding a fresh turkey flock later this season! Garden is getting planted simultaneously as well as work work work everywhere all over the property!!

Daddi Hippie just left to go pick up a tractor for a month!!!! 😲😲🚜🚜🚜 There's about to be some big projects getting done around here!!

Pull up a seat by the fire (or just hide in the bathroom for five minutes of peace—I don't judge). I’m The Feral Mama of Texas, but you can call me Mommi Hippie.
I’m officially your new feral mama, and I’m here to tell you that life is messy, loud, and absolutely unhinged sometimes, but damn, do we make it magical.

Who is Mommi Hippie?
I’ve been obsessed with freezing time through a camera lens since grade school. These days, I’m a professional photographer capturing everything from the "I do's" to the "I'm about to pop" maternity glows, plus branding and spicy individual sessions. If you’ve got a vibe, I’ve got the shutter speed to match. 📸

The Homestead & The Chaos
I’ve been homesteading for nearly a decade. We harvest our own chickens, grow our own food, and cultivate flowers that make the soul happy. My "office"? It’s a literal outdoor photo studio right here on the land.

We live that tiny home life—as in, we have several tiny homes that we’ve DIYed with our own sweat and tears. We travel together and work together as a family unit. Is it perfect? No. Is there probably a stray Lego and a chicken feather in my hair right now? Absolutely.

The Original "Late Bloomers"
I’m a mama of four incredible kiddos ranging from a nearly-20-year-old (how?!) down to a nearly-2-year-old. I’m a huge advocate for "geriatric" magic—I had two successful homebirths after the age of 35, and let me tell you, women are capable of anything.

The Vibe
I’m heavily tattooed, 🍃-friendly, and 100% inclusive. Whether you’re a crunchy mama, a goth mama, a corporate-ladder-climbing mama, or just a woman trying to find her spark again—you belong here. I believe in support over judgment, always.

Safety and love is more important than anything to a person who suffers from Complex Post Traumatic Stress. Especially someone who was diagnosed before that age of 12. I was diagnosed at 8. I also have endured countless acts of trauma since the age of 4. Be kind.

To my adopted feral babies:
People see the homesteading, the thrifting, the homeschooling, and the "Memaw" hobbies and they think the fire is gone. They think because I choose peace, I’ve forgotten how to handle business.

Oh, honey child... let them be mistaken.

Being a Mommi Hippie means I lead with love, but I protect with everything I’ve got. If anyone ever tries to upset one of my loves, they’ll find out exactly how fast these "Memaw" hands can move.

I nurture you with the same intensity that I use to shield you. You are safe in this tribe, and I will always be the wall between you and anything that tries to dim your light. 🛡️✨
