Our little farm stand is in the process of being built. We are a bit behind because of having to redo our roof this year...

Our little farm stand is in the process of being built. We are a bit behind because of having to redo our roof this year but the kids are working on projects to put in it once it is finished! In the meantime we have a plethora of eggs. We put some coolers with chicken eggs and duck eggs on the platform.
For now the egg money will be going towards some goals the kids have. I will be posting about that soon.

This morning’s escapades included collecting some eggs and checking in on our broody hens. Lily Belle found a small duck egg and was carrying it around saying she hoped that it had a baby in it. 🤣 We were talking about possibly hatching out a couple just for her to have and within a couple minutes we had two hens fighting… which is fairly unusual but they were fighting over a chick! One of the broody hens hatched out a singular black chick. Super cute! Lily Belle is in love. We separated the momma and chick since the other chickens wouldn’t leave them alone. We have four broody hens and that seems to be causing some issues. Lily Belle has named this chick, Yolky. ❤️❤️

It is almost time to put some eggs in the incubator! If you are looking for ducklings and chicks this summer the kids would love to hatch some for you.
Hatching eggs: .75 cents per egg
Barnyard mix Chicks: 2.00 per chick (not sexed)
Ducklings: 2.00 per duckling (not sexed)
Khaki Campbell: 5.00 per duckling (not sexed)

Also, we have tons of eggs available if anyone needs some.
Chicken eggs: $5 per dozen
Duck Eggs: $4 per half dozen

We have 5 dozen chicken eggs and a dozen duck eggs available! 5 dollars for a dozen chicken eggs and 4 dollars per half ...
