My energy levels are coming back and I actually did some baking today🍪🥖! I didn’t bake in bulk and it was so nice to remember how much I enjoy baking when I view it as a hobby and not as a job that needs to be done.

We’ll have Regular Sourdough, Oatmeal Cream Pies, and Chocolate Chip Cookies at the stand tomorrow. I hope you can make it 🥰

Well, we won’t have any sourdough this weekend 🫣

I had all of my loaves mixing on a timer (which I apparently misunderstood and thought the mixer’s built in timer was there to “set it and forget it”) when I heard the loudest crash from the next room over.

Somehow, my 150lb mixer scooted itself to the edge of the work table and fell onto our floor, cracking the flooring AND the sub flooring (my poor husband who now has to fix this 😣). Enough dough spilled to wipe out 12+ loaves!

Thankfully, my mixer is ok, so we will be back to normal sourdough production next week! 🥖

Sourdough will be in the stand this afternoon! We’ll have Rosemary Garlic and White Sourdough 🎉🥖 I’ll make a post once the loaves have cooled, are packaged up, and are ready to enjoy 🙌🏻

If you’ve noticed there haven’t been as many baked goods lately… we’ve been keeping a secret 🥲

We are expecting our rainbow baby this December! Praise the Lord 🌈🤍✨

I’ve got a couple of weeks left in the first trimester, and I’m slowly starting to feel like myself again. But working full-time while growing a tiny human has been a LOT, and I just haven’t been able to keep up with baking the way I used to so thank you all so much for your patience and understanding. We will still have sourdough tomorrow 🥖😅

The stand may be pretty empty these days… but our hearts are so full 🥰
