We have acquired goats from amazing milk and show lines. Happy to have a clean and healthy herd.

What a long fun weekend. Started off Saturday headed to Buffalo Clover farm to get ready for linear appraisal. Spent the evening with my favorite person Jan Nelson getting goats ready. Sunday we headed over to Howling Goat Farm to bbq and hangout with goat friends. Spent the day just talking goats and enjoying each others company. Then yesterday we appraised. I was really happy with how the girls did.

The judges loved her mammary system this weekend. They liked the height, strong medial and teat placement. Also complimented her strong front end assembly and depth of body. Another pic in comments of her in the champion challenge against Buffalo Clover Faith.

Well Friday we set out to our first show of the year. The milk and honey pot show in brownwood Texas. I took 4 milkers.

Via Dolorosa Peoni 1st in ring 1. 2nd in ring 2 on Saturday. Made the line but no ribbons. Then Sunday 1st in ring 3. 2nd in ring 4 in 2 yr old class. In ring 3 under Todd Biddle she went grand champion. He loved her and remembered her from last year where he put her reserve as a ff in some tough competition. She is a special doe around here. Can’t wait to see how the rest of the year goes for her.

Via Dolorosa Bye Bye Baby. 6th in ring 1 5th in ring 2 4th in ring 3 and 4 in 2 yr old class

Via Dolorosa Leilani was 2 in all 4 rings in the 3 year old class. She has started to come into herself. Liking what I’m seeing.

Last Southern Drawl Crème Burlee was 4th 5th 1st and 2nd. In the 5-7 year old class. At 6 she is still standing strong and well put together.

All in all it was a great weekend with great friends. Thanks to all who helped show. Thank you to the show committee and staff for a great show.

Peoni had triplets 2 doelings and buckling. Penny has a big single buckling. Im in love with these Peoni kids. It was a line breeding on Buffalo Clover cabernet. Can’t wait to see them unfold.
