Unfortunately despite thinning my Ozark gold apple tree still had too many apples on it to bear the brunt of extreme Kansas weather the nets are super light weight and porous but hurricane Force straightline winds accompanied by torrential rainfall followed by extreme heat bested most of my apples this year

My apples are really starting to take shape and grow I'm really excited for this fall so I can harvest my first crop of red fleshed apples it might not seem like a big thing but I've been growing this tree since the pandemic and now it's finally starting to produce

Plums and red fleshed apples not sure what type of plum it is but we'll see and the two red fleshed varieties are odysso red love and red devil apple trees I'll have a good harvest of apples from my red love tree but not very many from my red devil as it's still very young
