From fresh strawberries to a birthday cake worth celebrating. 🍓🤍

This one started with fresh strawberries and turned into something I’m PRETTY proud of.

A golden strawberry-filled poundcake, topped with a tangy cream cheese glaze… and finished with a fresh strawberry compote from muddled strawberries!

Sometimes you’re given a FB inspo recipe and just have to see where it takes you. ✨😘

Let me tell you something…

Every dessert starts somewhere.

Sometimes it’s a recipe.
Sometimes it’s an idea.
Sometimes it’s just me standing in the kitchen thinking…

“What if I tried this?” 👀

Or sometimes… it’s sipping on a beautiful iced matcha and thinking,
“Hmmm… strawberry and matcha. Let’s Bake & Create it!” 🙌🏾🙌🏾

And that’s exactly how this one happened. 😋

Sometimes it’s not really about the dessert.

It’s about the people you meet.
The conversations you have.
The stories you hear.
The laughs you share.

Today’s bake sale reminded me of something I want Bake2Create to always be about:

Food. Fun. Fellowship. Community.

I love creating desserts, but I’m realizing more and more that the best part is what happens around them.

Because sometimes dessert is just the excuse to gather.

And honestly… I think I like that part just as much. 🫶🏾
