I apologize for the lengthy hiatus in posting, folks. Health issues and initiatives to restore the girls to optimal laying capacity after molt have consumed my time. Currently, our six-hen flock boasts five active layers, and we are focused on rebuilding our stockpiles.

Girls are doing well we have a covered run and heat to keep them warm. I am a firm believer in keeping my girls warm. Egg production is slowly coming along, but molting has slowed us a bit
