Next weekend marks another Wichita Taco Fest 🔥 It will be hosted at the fountains at waterwalk like last year from 3PM-9PM! $2 tacos from local food vendors, food in photo is El Fogon which will be there 👀, a jalapeño eating contest, live lucha performances, and so much more. 🙂‍↔️

a pickle fest rundownnnn. ✨ this was my first event of going to i’ll be honest but it definitely won’t be the last. we snagged their pickle burger mac and cheese special, pickle pizza from , pickle crab rangoons from pep’s thai, pickle lemonade from and ended with pickle sours from 😁✨ if you missed this year, make sure you don’t miss next year! happy sunday!

i can’t remember the last time i went to in clifton due to the volume of the area but ended up at the one mixed with off of webb and 21st 🙂‍↔️ my husband grabbed their berry lemonade from just a sip and i got us their going bananas extreme shakes which was A drizzled jar coated with peanuts, filled with strawberry ice cream. topped with two strawberry wafer cookies, a chocolate dipped banana, a Tw***ie, whipped cream, peanuts, chocolate drizzle from papas 😵‍💫😵‍💫 it was a lot and by the time we got to the ice cream it was a milkshake which works for me. happy memorial day. ✨

food truck of the week was 🫡 i grabbed their caesar goes to bangkok wrap and just 😽😽😽 its green curry marinated chicken, bangkok-style caesar dressing, parmesan, romaine, herbs, with fried rice croutons in a spinach herb wrap 😮‍💨 snagged a cali tot-co for my coworker that “didn’t want anything”, which was smoked chili braised pork, tater tots, cheese, onions, cilantro, chipotle lime crema, and a flour tortilla. happy memorial weekend

for lunch today i met up with .eats at to try their mac and cheese special that they’re having until may 22nd in their beastro 👀 chris was no stranger and had their burnt end version last year. the changes this year is braised short ribs with crunchy jalapeños and a red wine demi-glacé sauce 😮‍💨 i won’t lie, until this mac and cheese i was pretty sure mac and cheese just really wasn’t for me. their made from scratch 5 cheese sauce is just chefs kiss. even had a cheese pull going on. we also got to try their peach drop and 🔥 do you know how surprised we were when we found out it had Bacardi? 👀 we also got to see the zoos newest baby additions and it’s also kinali the orangutans birthday 🦧🎂

hoping i wasn’t the only one that saw the initial line at 6 for asian night market and said let’s wait for it to die down? luckily while looking for somewhere to go my friend said she wanted to go to northern kansas for a soft serve marg and i got to get tell her there were some at home. 🙂‍↔️ we ended up at the only place selling em here (to my knowledge) and of course grabbed their soft serve margaritas 😮‍💨👀 their flavors were raspberry and peach Bellini. we got their jalapeño poppers and buffalo flautas to pass some time. happy monday ✨

When celebrating a graduation- one might go to and if they do, check their instagram to see if there’s a new burger to try! that’s what i did 😄 tried their Crunchy Lava Burger! 2 Wagyu patties topped with avocado, cheddar, bacon, jalapeño, a housemade rotel queso, flamin’ hot cheetos, and housemade sour cream aioli on a brioche bun! It’s available to try till May 24th! my youngest brother in law (aka the graduate) got their bleu burger and we got a basket of truffle fries to share because a basket wins every time compared to a side 🔥 happy saturday

the food trucks at work are back baby. truck of the week is ✨ i snagged their scrumptiousness because how can you see something called that and pass on the opportunity for something so scrumptious it’s called scrumptiousness? beyond me. it’s burnt ends, roasted garlic cream, spicy slaw, truffle taters with a side of what i can only find to be called “pickled things”, which i love. would buy a jar. my bestie grabbed their burnt end elote tacos which comes with cilantro chimichurri, roasted corn aioli, served with pickled things, Carolina slaw and their taters 🙂‍↔️

checked out in nomar with my husband today and as a foodie, that meant local food. so we went and checked some places out for lunch.
checked out on the way out and got their rou ja mo to take home which is pulled pork belly, green onion, cilantro, on pita with an au jus and i’m assuming homemade chips because those kinda chips can’t be bought. 😮‍💨 i believe we sampled their tinga and that’s what my husbands set on getting next time. 🤝🏼
for drinks we got the seasonal favorite tropical pete from which is pineapple, peach, strawberry, and mango house made puree in their house made lemonade. wonderfulness mixed with wonderfulness.
and then pep’s thai 😮‍💨 they have a page but i don’t believe they have an instagram YET. i got a whole assortment. crab rangoon (on the sweeter end) dumplings, sausage, egg roll, and chicken skewer with mango tea 😮‍💨 my husband got thai tea with fried rice, a skewer, and egg roll. 😮‍💨
