⚡️Major congratulations to Brigette Knowles of Southern Roots for structuring her multi-member LLC with Create Campaign support. Brigette put her learning from Spark to use and is leveling up! Like and follow her company as they lift off.

I hope I'm better at running a business than I am at posting on social media🤡

Guess who's going to file their LLC with the help of Create Campaign tomorrow??🥳🥳🥳

Just because you call it gumbo... doesn't mean it's gumbo. 😭🍲

Every time we see certain "gumbo" pictures, we're reminded that Southern Roots is needed and we need to hurry up and save the taste buds of our community. 😆

Wichita... hang in there. Help is on the way.❣️

Real entrepreneurship looks a lot less like fancy offices and a lot more like late-night planning and eating snacks while trying to figure everything out. 😆

But little by little, Southern Roots is becoming a reality🙌

Anybody else chasing a dream from their kitchen table? ❤️👇

Question for y'all...

When you hear the name Southern Roots, what kind of food immediately comes to mind?

We're curious to know which Southern comfort food says "home" to you❣️

Finish this sentence...

"You can't have a Southern cookout without __________."

We're grabbing a pen because y'all always give us good ideas! 🤗

Hey y'all! We figured it was time to introduce ourselves. ❤️

We're Brigette and Demetrious, the faces behind Southern Roots.

We may be building this business in Kansas, but our hearts will always belong to the Gulf Coast of Alabama. Brigette is from Bay Minette, and Demetrious is from just across the bay in Mobile—the true birthplace of Mardi Gras (yes... we said it 😆).

Those Gulf Coast roots have shaped who we are, how we cook, and what Southern hospitality means to us. The fresh Gulf flavors, the rich Southern traditions, and the way food brings people together have always been a part of our lives.

For as long as we can remember, we've dreamed about owning a food business. We've talked about it, planned it, and imagined what it could become. Now, we're finally taking the leap and making that dream a reality.

Southern Roots is more than a food brand to us. It's our way of bringing a little piece of home to our new home. We can't wait to share the flavors we grew up with, create new memories with our community, and build something we're proud to leave behind.

Thank you for following along as we bring this dream to life. Whether you've been here from the beginning or you're just joining us, we're grateful you're here.

💜 Now tell us... where are you following us from? And if you're Team Mobile or Team New Orleans when it comes to Mardi Gras... let's hear it! 😆🎭
