Chad and I would like to thank each and every one of you who has supported Prairie Rose Farm this season!

We’ve been awfully quiet on our page as well as with the market scene the past several weeks. Our garden took an early bow in the final weeks of the hot hot summer which also coincided with a shift in some priorities here at home.

We are still available for sourdough bread orders and I am happy to take those by messaging me via social media or by text message.

Thank you once again, it was a good first season made possible by you all 💚

Boy is it hot!! 🥵 After a refreshing weekend in Michigan (20 degrees cooler high temps), we are back in the scorching heat and prepping for the Kechi Farmers Market which we plan to attend again on Thursday! I’ll provide an update on Wednesday with what we have available to bring. See y’all then 😁😁

Prairie Rose Farm is taking the week off from markets this week - but nevertheless we have some exciting things happening in the garden!

Look closely!! Our carrots were such a hit for our first time at the markets this season. We sold out FAST! Our fall crop has germinated (hardest part of the process, especially in the heat we’ve had). Hoping to have more before the end of market season as two of our varieties are early maturing.

Anyone have a spice/dried herb grinder they love? Don’t get me wrong… I love my mortar and pestle… it’s just not the most efficient 😂

Another great pop up market in the books! Thank you to everyone who stopped by our pop up at We Ride. So happy to be here… we truly appreciate each and every one of you!

We will be taking next week off for markets, but plan to be back up in Kechi the first week of September. As always, we will keep you posted on the details.
