SUMMER HOURS UPDATE ☀️
Beginning immediately, Project SALT will be open:
📅 Monday, Wednesday & Friday
⏰ 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Like many nonprofits, we're feeling the effects of a volunteer shortage. In order to continue serving our community well and avoid volunteer burnout, we've had to adjust our summer hours.
The good news? This is also an opportunity.
Project SALT has never been about a building or a schedule—it's always been about people helping people. Every food box packed, every clothing item sorted, every family served happens because someone chose to give their time.
We're actively looking for dependable volunteers who can commit to a regular schedule. We aren't looking for someone to stop by for an hour once in a while (although we appreciate every helping hand). What we truly need are people who can consistently serve on the same day each week or even every other week. Consistency is key and helps us plan a set schedule.
A day can look like sorting through clothes, packing or dating food items, helping unload or load donations. We can try to find the perfect spot for you.
Maybe that's:
✅ Every Monday
✅ Every other Wednesday
✅ A consistent schedule that works for you and doesn't burn you out.
If you've ever thought, "I'd love to help," now is the time.
The need is growing, but so is the opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life. Whether you're retired, work a flexible schedule, are a student, or simply have a heart to serve, we'd love to have you join the Project SALT family.
Interested in volunteering? Send us a message, stop by, or give us a call.
Together, we can continue making sure our neighbors have food, clothing, and hope.
❤️ Thank you for supporting Project SALT and the families we serve.
