Chill Sloth - Ice Cream & Smoothies

10/17/2026

👀🦥

Sammy the sloth was enjoying a snack when sleep suddenly became a much bigger priority.
The two-toed sloth lives at Chill Sloth Ice Cream & Smoothies in Wiggins, Mississippi, and a hilarious video shows him struggling to stay awake as he eats.
Sloths have naturally slow metabolisms, but Sammy seems to have taken relaxation to a whole new level.
Apparently, even chewing is exhausting when you're this committed to napping.

Meet 𝐔𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐲, our newest employee! 💀 He makes coffee, scoops ice cream, and runs the register. Takes entirely too many breaks on the couch, but it’s hard to find good help these days. Sammy is still trying to figure out what his deal is. 😭

Come see us and Uncle Dusty and grab a scoop of ice cream! 🍨🦥

Open until 8pm every day!

We always have so much fun 𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞 for Wild Acres’ Coffee & Capybaras events! It gives our Chill Sloth crew a chance to step outside the shop, enjoy a little change of scenery and serve up delicious coffee in a pretty hard-to-beat setting.

We love getting to be part of events like this and seeing so many familiar faces outside of Chill Sloth. It’s a fun morning for everyone, and that definitely includes us!

Special shoutout to SignGypsies Stone Saucier Hancock for this awesome yard sign, and to Southern Girl Cookies for our amazing custom sugar cookies! Ya’ll are the best! 🥹

Coffee, capybaras and a morning at Wild Acres… not a bad day at work! ☕️

We’re so thankful for this little community that continues to show up for us, support us, and make Chill Sloth what it is. We love getting to be a part of your weekends, after-school stops, family outings, and those random “we need ice cream” trips. 🥹
