Zack got Grave Digger all tuned up with a fresh l**e, oil and filter. Just in time for May, which is now never-ending-mowing-season! So many gorgeous pastures, and way too much for our two mares. Can't wait to share these with our future boarders.

Birthday trail ride! Kona turned 10, and Mira 5. They were rescued from slaughter yards as babies, so they adopted our late horse Genevieve's birthday. I'm now catering Mira on the trails, and she is becoming a fantastic trail horse. Kona, of course, has been a trail lover for years now. It's why I always go for the left brained introverts. Love these girls of ours, and my cowboy.

Zack has been working part-time at our farm for a month now! Still working for Farmtek part time too. He is crusing through projects! Here's the barn update. We now have 4 doors for the horses all framed out, kick boards installed on all the insides, sliding door on inside for us. It's 10'x50'' and this will be for 5 horses. So, yes that means 3 boarders, and soon!! So thankful for Farmtek's support, and God's abundant blessings in making this possible for us.

Mira's reaction to the new half-acre pasture we fenced off, that's loaded with grass! We LOVE the simplicity of these step-in posts with Turbo Wire. And yes, she is a blast to ride!

Our neighbors at Sandalwood Stables kindly let us enjoy their beautiful trails. Evan had a half day, so we went out for a two-hour ride. It was our first time going, and both girls even crossed a bridge for the first time!

Wilbraham loves their farms! Since moving here in September, we have felt so supported as we build our new horse business. In just a short time, we’ve received our Farm Exemption Certificate, Chapter 61B Recreational Tax status, and a special Farm Burning Permit—huge milestones that allow us to truly operate and improve the land the way we need to. We’re also now officially a registered business, which makes everything feel very real as we get close to opening. The support from Town Hall, the fire department, assessors, zoning, and planning has been incredible. It really feels like Wilbraham is a town that stands behind its farms. Most of all, we’re so grateful for God’s abundant blessings in every step of this process. We can clearly see His hand in it all, as now it is clear why he wanted us in Wilbraham. So excited for what’s ahead!

Nice cozy coop cleaned daily with windows for ventilation and they will free-range all day on our 13 acres until evening when I lock then inside safely. Of course let's of kitchen scraps too!

Saw this little yellow finch at our feeder struggling with conjunctivitis—basically pink eye for birds. I told God; "Ok, if I catch him with my hand, I’ll help him." Guess what happened...

Friendly reminder: avoid feeders birds rub their eyes on. Conjunctivitis is very contagious. Open feeders are safer. We love ours! Photo in comments.
