French drain complete around the barn! Before this, anytime it rained, tons of water flooded in. After replacing our rotted sill wood, Earth Movers Excavation dug a deeper trench, Zack installed the liner and piping, and then Earth Movers filled it with rock. It handled three days of heavy rain perfectly!

I'm so behind on updating yall, but I'll catch up! Reframing all 4 large sliding barn doors, new cills and then adding in stay rollers and catchers. Removing roots, adding a stepping stone, leveling and seeding to front entry. Then scraping and repainting the barn window.

Finally new lights are up, and I love their cozy feel! Plus all new electrical in the barn with ceiling plugs for the lights, dimable switches that dim all the way down to night light level plus 10 ground level wet location outlets! Took down the old ones as well. Thank you Bill with WLC Electric and Will Savola!

PS: Did you know horses adjust to major light changes much slower than we do? Twice as long to be precise. So we make sure to use dim lighting at night or slowly dim them so the horses can adjust and don't get hurt.

Barn rehaul progress! Wrapped up the run-in side, pulled down old lights, and gutted the opposite walls, shelves, and rotted sill. Now to shave down the messy concrete ridge. Zack is crushing it!!
