Sunrock Farm

After 38 years of sharing our fabulous Sunrock Farm with this wonderful community, the owners have retired and the farm is now closed.
As many of you know, we offered intimate hands-on farm experiences via tours and summer camps. We also provided a traveling farm that visited schools, nursing homes, local festivals, and other venues as a part of our ongoing mission to cultivate a sense of wonder about the world around us. Happily, the traveling farm is being continued by The Good Green Earth Farm (www.GoodGreenEarthFarm.org).

For those of you concerned about our animals you will be happy to learn that after months of seeking good families for them we are now helping them transition to their new homes off the property.

For now, we wish to sincerely thank all the wonderful people who have helped support Sunrock Farm over the past three and a half decades. Without you we could not have done even a small portion of the work we have accomplished. In addition, our non profit group, The Friends of Sunrock Farm, would like to thank all the donors for their generous contributions which have enabled thousands of disadvantaged children and adults to "touch the earth"

The chores never stop on the farm! The animals don't care if it's a holiday, or if it's raining, or cold.. they need and deserve our constant care. Here, a young farmer spends her morning grooming the new thick winter coats the horses are growing.

Our stunning young rooster says "good morning"! Cold, sure, but watching over the young hens like a boss! If you are looking for some young hens give us a call and we can tell you all about the breeds and ages of our darlings who are all ready for their new flock.
