The Krise family ranch operation specializes in commercial Black Angus breeding and beef stock. The Krise family gravel pit began in 1976, initially providing material for county and state projects. Partnered with Sundre Sand & Gravel, the Pit provides a wide variety of spec material for various commercial and private projects throughout North Dakota.

Livestock owners are urged to take action to protect their animals from the disease, ESPECIALLY in areas where previous history. Vaccines are available. Reach out to your local veterinarian for assistance.

Anthrax is caused by the bacteria Bacillus anthracis. The bacterial spores can lie dormant in the ground for decades and become active under ideal conditions, such as heavy rainfall, flooding and drought. Animals are exposed to the disease when they graze or consume forage or water contaminated with the spores.
