Free Kids’ Meals at Abide 🧇
We know summer can be a stretch for a lot of families. When school’s out, those daily meals add up fast, and we never want a kid in our community to go without. So this summer, we’re doing something about it.
Starting mid next week, we’ll have Free Kids’ Meal vouchers available right here at the coffeehouse. Some will be pinned to the board by the counter, free for the taking, no questions asked. If you or someone you know could use one, just grab it. That’s what it’s there for.
Each voucher is good for any food item on our menu, so kids can pick whatever sounds good to them. A waffle, a sandwich, a fresh salad, whatever hits the spot that day.
And if you know a family or a child who needs a little extra help right now, let us know. Quietly, kindly, however feels right. We’ll make sure a voucher gets where it needs to go. No one should have to ask twice, and no one should feel any shame in it.
This is for the kids. It always has been. A warm meal, a friendly face, and a place that’s glad you walked in.
We can’t fix everything, but we can do this. And we’re grateful to be part of a neighborhood that shows up for each other.
