Lil' Starts Small, local, regenerative family farm! Farming has given owners Lillian Matlock and Luke Kilmaszewski the opportunity to change their values into purpose.

Working with just under an acre of cultivated land in the East Columbia Neighborhood of Portland soil health is of utmost importance at Lil' Starts. East Columbia is a very unique neighborhood due to its wetlands, open space and drainage ways and our farm is located about half way between the Columbia River and the Columbia Slough. Anything that goes into our soil winds up in our food and our trea

sured waterways and this is our basis for all of the farming decisions we make. No synthetic fertilizers or pesticides of any type are used on our property, never ever. We only use manure, mulch and amendments from trusted sources

We also accept monthly SNAP payments for the Veggie CSA and SNAP members are eligible for DUFB which provides a 50% discount for the total CSA cost

Lil Starts is a small, 5 acre, family run farm in Willamina, OR that uses organic and regenerative farming practices.

We grow a wide variety of vegetables including snap peas, fava beans, broccoli, cabbage, salad turnips, radish, lots of carrots, fresh herbs, salad greens, arugula, little gem lettuces, hearty greens, potatoes, heirloom and cherry tomatoes, green beans, onions, garlic, shish*to peppers, sweet peppers, spicy peppers, eggplant, melons, squash and much more.

Each weekly share contains an alternating mix of 9-12 items. Shares start smaller but get bigger as the season continues.
