What does it mean when I say “Our puppies are already ‘responding to cues to come to me’?“ *no idea if those quotation marks are in the right spot 😆*
This boy (grey) was completely enthralled with his own mission (attack the grass) when I whistled he immediately stopped to check out the noise, then when I called, he immediately hopped up and came.
This is the foundation of an excellent recall in your adult dog. Which in my opinion is the most important command. Your dog can sit, roll over, and do tricks all day long, but if they will not drop what they are doing and come running to you when you call, everyone is set up to fail if a dangerous situation should arise.
