Good to know for next tomato season.

Did you know you can keep tomatoes fresh for months using a natural and ancient method? All you need is wood ash and a suitable container. This technique involves alternating layers of dry ash with fresh tomatoes, ensuring they don't touch each other. The ash acts as an insulator, absorbing moisture and preventing decomposition.
The tomatoes retain their flavor and texture without the need for chemicals or refrigeration. Additionally, it's a sustainable process that repurposes wood ash effectively.

The double cup method is a great cheap way of starting Peppers, Tomatoes & Aubergines indoors.
1️⃣Add a stone or pebble to the bottom of a plastic cup
2️⃣Make some drainage holes in a second cup
3️⃣Place the second cup inside the first
4️⃣Add some compost to the bottom
5️⃣Sow your seeds
6️⃣As the plant grows add more compost
