Harvest is off to a very early start this year. We picked Chardonnay for our friends over at Aridus Tuesday and we picked Pinot Noir for our own Rosé this morning. Next up, Roussanne for Old Pueblo.

With everything in the news about the Cyclospora parasite outbreak we thought this would be a good time to remind you that there are no known human pathogens that can survive in wine. Drinking wine might make you chatty, or sleepy, or if you drink too much you might get a hangover, but you'll never develop intestinal issues from it.
Drink responsibly.

Veraison is early this year. We'll drape bird netting over these Pinot Noir vines tomorrow to keep the birds from eating all of the fruit.
By the way, one year out of five we skip the crop forcing on our Pinot and use the fruit for a Rosé. This is a Rosé year.

Laramita Cellars is seeking a part-time sales representative to help grow our presence with restaurants, wine shops, and other accounts in the greater Phoenix metro area.

This is a flexible, commission-based opportunity. It works best for someone who already has established relationships in the local hospitality and retail scene and is looking to dive into wine sales.

What we’re looking for:
- Sales experience.
- Experience in hospitality or beverages.
- Self-motivated and reliable.
