The fruit is growing, sweet corn is planted, and all your favorite summer veggies are in the ground and getting a strong start. It’s always our favorite time of year watching everything come to life!

While this season brings a lot to look forward to, we are sad to share, our cherry crop didn’t make it this year after that stretch of extreme heat during bloom.

We’re aiming to open around July 1 with peaches ready, and apples will follow later in July. The farm will open around the same time as the orchard, with sweet corn, summer squash and all your other favorites ripening as the season progresses.

As always, opening day depends on the weather between now and then, so it could shift a few days either way. Keep an eye out for updates as we get closer, we’ll keep you posted!

Spring has arrived at Apple Annie’s!

The plum blossoms have already come and gone, and now the tiny fruits are beginning to form on the trees. Across the orchard apricots, peaches and Asian pears are blooming, and the apples won’t be far behind.

It’s always an exciting time of year as the orchard comes back to life and a new crop begins its journey from blossom to fruit.

We’re so excited to celebrate 40 years of Apple Annie’s Orchard this year!

Here’s a little throwback to the beginning. In 1986 we started by selling apples out of our carport and baking pies in our kitchen. Just two years later we built the first half of our “Barn,” which is still home to our bakery, fudge kitchen, and gift shop today.

A lot has changed and grown over the years, but our family is still here working together, and many of you who visited in the early days are now bringing your kids, grandkids, and even great-grandkids.

This year we’re celebrating 40 years of Apple Annie’s and we want YOU

We’re creating a cookbook filled with the recipes that have been shared around your kitchen tables, the pies, cobblers, salsas, casseroles, and family favorites made with Apple Annie’s fruit and veggies.

Out with the old and making way for the new!
This week we have been removing one of our older apple orchards and several rows of peach trees that aren’t producing like they once did. It’s always a little bittersweet to say goodbye to trees that have given us so many seasons of fruit, but it’s also a big step toward the future!

We’ll be replacing with new apple and peach trees this spring, and before long they’ll be growing strong and ready to fill your baskets again.

As we wrap up another unforgettable season at Apple Annie’s, our hearts are full.

Thank you to all of our amazing guests for spending your days with us, picking, laughing, exploring, and making memories. And to our incredible team, thank you for your hard work, your smiles, and the long hours you put in to make the experience unforgettable for our guests. We couldn’t do this without you.

Pumpkins, corn maze, sunflowers, cider donuts, pies and more. Soak in one more day of fall fun. Open 9:00-5:00 through October 31.
