It has taken me awhile to let you know that we have sold our alpaca herd in July of 2021. We so appreciated the experience of raising the alpacas has given us. We learned so much, shed a few tears but way more smiles were given. I am still working on the fiber and plan to continue to process through it. So someday I may have yarn and alpaca rugs to sell. So for now we are going to enjoy some of the freedom that NOT having alpacas gives us to spend time with our six grandsons and kids too. And maybe we will see you on the road again!

Beyond the Rainbow Bridge

As much as I loved the life we had, of happiness and fun, I reached the end of my life and knew my time on earth was done.

I saw a wondrous image then of a place that's trouble-free, where all of us can meet again to spend eternity.

I saw the most beautiful rainbow, on the other side, where fields rich and beautiful - lush, green and wide.

And running through these fields as far as the eye could see were dogs and puppies, cat and kittens of every sort as healthy as could be.

My own exhausted body was fresh and healed and new and wanted to run off with them, but had something left to do.

I need to reach out to you, to tell you i'm alright that this place is truly wonderful, and then a bright flow pierced the night.

"Twas the flow of many candles shining bright and strong and bold, and I knew it held you love in all its brilliant shades of gold.

For although we're not together in the way we used to be, we are still connected by something no eye can see.

So whenever you need to find me, we're never far apart if you look beyond the Rainbow Bridge and listen with your heart.
