Good morning from Auel’s Family Farm! 🌻
It’s hard to believe everything the last couple of weeks have brought. Early Friday morning on the 7th, a storm came through and took down a huge tree directly behind our house. Praise God, we were spared any major damage. Just a few more feet, and that tree could have landed right in my bedroom. 🙏
After getting that mess cleaned up, we were hit again last Tuesday when severe storms moved through Williamsburg. Our power was out for four days, and many people are still without power. Roads were closed in several areas, and so many families and farmers are dealing with the aftermath.
As frustrating and inconvenient as it has been, we are counting our blessings. Most importantly, our family is safe, and we are incredibly thankful that our farm did not suffer any major damage. ❤️
We also want to give a heartfelt THANK YOU to all the men and women who have been working tirelessly to clear roads, repair lines, restore power, and help communities recover. Your dedication, hard work, and sacrifice have not gone unnoticed. ❤️
Please continue to keep everyone affected by these storms in your prayers—those who have suffered property damage, those who are still without power, and especially our farmers who have lost crops or had barns and other buildings damaged. 🌾🙏
And let’s not forget those in other states who are also dealing with devastating storm damage and severe flooding. So many families and communities are hurting right now and could use our prayers, support, and compassion. 🙏❤️
Storms like these remind us how quickly things can change and how important it is to be grateful for what we have. We are counting our blessings and thanking God for His protection. ❤️🙏
From our family to yours, stay safe and God bless! 🌻
🙏🌾❤️
