Today's post is event-focused - we've got some fun and diverse activities planned at Farm Kitchen Workshop for the coming month or so and we want to make sure you know about all of them! From a free tasting to pop up café/bar/dinners, to a workshop, to a fundraiser for Dakin Humane Society, we've got something for everyone!

June 20th, 4-9 PM Bites and Bevies - a pop up café and bar: share plates, casual food, beer, wine + drinks

June 24th, 4:30-7:30 Drop-in Coffee and Dessert Tasting with Indigo Coffee (and us!) - Free!

June 29-July 11 Business closed for break

Good morning!

Today we're reflecting on almost 2 full months of being open. It feels like forever, but it also feels like just yesterday that we were dreaming up the space and wondering when we might be able to welcome you all in.
Thank you for your patronage, encouragement, for trying us out (even if we're not part of your daily/weekly routine), and for sharing what we're up to with your friends. We have big plans for our facility in addition to our daily presence in the Farm Shop. Stay tuned for news from us here and via our email newsletter which we send about 2X/month. We hope to see you today at Farm Kitchen Workshop or this afternoon from 2-6. We'll be there with greens and baked goods. It's a great market for true local grocery shopping (without much fanfare other than the chance to meet the people who grew/made the products being sold!).

🚙 Note for this weekend:
With the FIFA/Millside Park events in our neighborhood Fri/Sat, we're reserving our parking lot for customers OR guests who want to "donate to park" for Millside events on Fri and Sat. With an on site donation (to the project), you can park in our lot which is a short walk to the festivities at Millside Park. We'll have parking attendants on site to collect donations and help our customers get in and out.

That night, we'll be a pop up dinner spot with locally-inspired casual bites, a couple specialty mocktails, local beer, and wines by the glass.

Swing by after your visit to the fundraiser at New City Brewery, or before you head to Millside Park for Salsa and Bachata lessons, dancing, and live music.

We're looking forward to a festive evening of bites and bevies with you!.

Good morning - the weather couldn't be better, we hope you had a chance to sit for a few extra minutes with your coffee, tea or morning beverage of choice today!

We're looking forward to this Saturday when we open up Farm Kitchen Workshop as a pop up café and bar with local beer, wine, mocktails, dessert and local-ingredient inspired bar bites. Join us between 4-9 PM for a festive and relaxed evening - maybe stop in on your way to or from some Salsa dancing at Millside Park? Hope to see you!

Good morning!
We enjoyed our first official full day off together yesterday since opening - we spent the morning moving goat fences and watching our small herd enjoy new pastures with our livestock guardian dog Rocky. Everyone is happy for the cooler temps coming this week, and some rain doesn't hurt either!

We're back at it this morning with a new salad, fresh cookies and scones, and lots of greens in the fridges.

Today:
Rhubarb Apricot Scone
Maple GF scone

Breakfast sandwiches on ciabatta: egg and cheese, bacon egg and cheese

Salad:
NEW! Strawberry Chèvre on our greens w/pickled asparagus and house scape/lemon/dill vinaigrette
Black lentil, radish + carrot salad will be back by 10 AM

Sandwiches:
Turkey, spicy mayo, kraut, greens and cheddar
Ham, apple, cheddar, spicy greens, dijonaise

Plus, strawberry rhubarb galettes (a 2 person shareable rustic pie), purple asparagus 'til it's gone, our lettuce, salad mix, and spicy greens mix, plus herbs from our farm: thyme, sage, oregano for your culinary endeavors!

Plenty more to enjoy including drinks and snacks - and a mellow space with free wifi. The perfect place to read a book, visit with friends, or get some work done.

We're keeping it cool today. We're open with cold coffee, hot coffee, cold drinks, and no-cook food ideas. Our weekly lettuce harvest was yesterday so we have plenty of salad greens ready for your no-cook kitchen plans, too.

From purple asparagus to garlic scapes to our tender rainbow chard, we have plenty of ideas for how to enjoy these special offerings from local farms - feel free to ask when you come in! And of course we have local strawberries - so juicy and freshly picked. Great for snacking or baking.

*A personal note from Miana and Terry:
As a small family-owned and operated business, we sometimes have to take unconventional approaches to managing the balance of life and business. One of those has been to close each year in the summer for a short period of rest and rejuvenation. This has been a big year for us as a business and as a family and we're looking forward to this year's annual shut down from June 29-July 11.
Rest assured that we'll be back at it Monday, July 13th with morning coffee, local food, free wifi in our Main Hall, and plenty of creative new offerings hitting the calendar (thanks in part to the relaxation we'll enjoy during our closure, i'm sure). Thank you for supporting us as we grow together!

It's Tuesday!

We're happy to enjoy some cooler weather this morning before it heats up this week. The vibes are mellow, the coffee is hot (or cold!), and our doors are open at Farm Kitchen Workshop in Easthampton. Stop by to shop (eggs, milk, cheese, produce, asparagus ravioli in the freezer!), soups, salads, spices, vinegars, oils, snacks, coffee...We could go on, but you should come check it out for yourself.

Stop by for a meet and greet with a very knowledgeable local coffee roaster (and wonderful human). It's free and open to the public! We'll be there sharing nibbles of some of our favorite dessert items (and maybe even testing out some new ones). The shop will be open late that day. Don't miss it!

*Friday morning the Main Hall will be closed for a private workshop. It will reopen at 1 PM.

We're open with a nice cool breeze coming in from outside. Hot and cold brew coffee, freshly baked scones, ciabatta sandwiches and plenty of the other goodies you enjoy from us are stocked. We're looking forward to hearing when the next round of strawberries is available (we sold out quickly last week!)...when we know, you'll know!
