My sister-in-law's 80th birthday party! Loved making this cake in all her favorite colors! The natural cake board of a wood ring was made by her son, Randy. The cupcakes on the side were a fun way for all the kids to get a quick and less messy piece of the cake!

Times have really changed! The first cake is from mine and Jodells wedding in 1974. The second cake of cascading roses is very today. Both cakes had the same spark of inspiration, wanting a white cake with pink flowers.
