Our mares are daughters and granddaughters of Cutter Freckles, Colonel Freckles, Codys Clone, Clark's Doc Bar, Hot Invitation, Invitation Only, Sonny Go Royal, Sonny Dee Bar, Glow Natural, Zippo Pine Glow, Slush Fund, Shot O' Gin and Leo Goldseeker. We breed our mares to today’s champion performing stallions, like Chic Please, Lopin Slow, Hollywood Vintage, Roosters Wrangler, Matt Dillon Dun It, Starbucks Sidekick, Self Shine, Smart Lil Shiner, Ticket To Starfire, Dunnits Gold King and Listolena. These stallions all meet one or more of the following criteria: AQHA World Champion, Reserve World Champion, World Qualifier, AQHA Performance Champion, Congress Champion, AQHA Superior Performance, AQHA Super Horse Contender, and champion or reserve champion of major futurities. One, Matt Dillon Dun It, even won the Gold Medal for the U.S. At the 2004 FEI World Reining Masters Finals AND Starbucks Sidekick is a 2006 World Equestrian Games Team USA Gold Medalist! Another notable statistic belongs to Hollywood Vintage as the only son of Hollywood Dun It to win the NRHA Open Futurity. Located in the green, rolling pastures of eastern Kansas, Donegal Ranch Quarter Horses was founded in 1996 on land homesteaded in 1890 by our ancestors from County Donegal, Ireland. Our Quarter Horse breeding business started in earnest in 2002 and our horses are in Texas, Alabama, Illinois, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Iowa, New Jersey, Kansas, Georgia, Minnesota, Oregon and Nebraska in training and with show careers making their owners' dreams come true. The training of your next champion begins at the foal’s birth. We imprint immediately and, from that point on, handle each foal daily. As they mature, the foal will experience a program of basic ground training involving halter training, tie-off, trailer loading, having their feet lifted and worked with, clipping, washing, grooming, walking over a variety of surfaces and objects, accepting objects on their backs and more.
