It is with a heavy heart that we are suspending operations at Maine Highlands Sugarworks. The covid situation has caused a dramatic downward trend in sales because of the lack of shows available to sell our product. That left us with the lower profit margin of wholesale accounts and this coupled with the high insurance costs has led to our decision to suspend operations. We sincerely hope these situations will change in the future and we can resume operations. Thank you for your patronage in the past and here's to hoping we can continue in the future.
