The great variety of recipes available at our Brewery + Taproom + Beer Garden — and throughout Virginia, New York, the UK, Europe, Japan, & South Korea — are made possible by a unique production model: a brewery built within a brewery. The large-scale, 30-bbl production brewing system is fully integrated with a custom built, 5-bbl pilot system that allows creativity and experimentation on a regular basis.

Our thanks to The St. George Brewing Company and Brew & Bottle for a great Honeyfest yesterday! Our new Lead Brewer (Logan!) was excited to brew a new Braggot for the occasion, featuring honey from our neighbors at Silver Hand Meadery. We even tapped the very first keg of Context Clues at the festival (and it was QC’d by our friends from Rogue Wave Brewing Company for good measure)! 🤝

Cheers to everyone who came by to sample our brews during the event — and big thanks to all the visitors who went out of their way to leave enthusiastic feedback about The Kitchen, from the Virginia Beer Co. too. Spending a 🐝-utiful day surrounded by good folks enjoying a good time while supporting local is always good for the soul.

Can’t wait to run it back next year. Keep an eye out for Context Clues tapping at both VBC locations soon! 🍯

As we celebrate America's 250th, we figured we should celebrate one of the greatest Americans: KENNY POWERS

Today we're releasing BLINK IF YOU WANT ME! This Hazy IPA features a scorching dry-hop of tropical Paridisi hops, with a party dropper pairing of orange-forward Citra & lime-forward Motueka. A jet ski of refreshing hop notes fired straight into your palate. Don't believe us? Listen here you beautiful beer lover: we're about to f*** your mouth up with some truth.

Release at Noon with baseball on the big screen all day. Rock your best Kenny-inspired look for a chance to win a VBC gift card, pick up some Kenny-inspired swag, and enjoy ballpark fare from The Wandering Sausage. Four Letter Words takes the stage at 6 pm to bring down the brewery accordingly!

The Outlaw Jon Smith will be taking the stage from 5-8 pm to help honour The Iron Butterfly with a pop-up performance in the Beer Garden. Don your finest country western gear for the occasion.
