Vosburgh Farms Kentucky

Vosburgh Farms Kentucky 2014 starts our new focus which is subsistence farming. Rabbits, Chickens, Herbs and Fruit/Nut trees to start.

Vosburgh Farms started in Virginia and moved to Kentucky in 2003. Our primary focus in 2014 has moved from raising racehorses for other people to subsistence farming since the economy has changed. As always we are putting much effort into maintaining a higher standard than normal in raising our animals in a humanely, organic way and with love. We avoid fertilizers and pesticides and rely on compos

t and natural methods of pest control. The rabbits dine on grass and herbs and provide meat, companionship and manure for compost. Our chickens eat vegetable scraps from the table and the garden as well as bugs and grass. Their eggs are delicious and they too provide manure for the compost. Our few remaining horses also provide manure for the compost as well as companionship. Our wonderful cats provide much entertainment and help to keep the rodent population in check.
