We’ve had so many calls and messages asking if our A/C is fixed…

The answer is YES! 🎉❄️

Our A/C is back up and running, and the restaurant is nice and cool again! Thank you all so much for your patience, understanding, and support over the last couple of days. It truly meant the world to us.

Today was one of the hardest days we’ve had since opening.

With our A/C down on a 100° day, we were honestly worried about letting so many of you down. We called guests with reservations to let them know what was happening, expecting many cancellations.

Instead, so many of you said, “We’ll just take it to go.”

Some of you came anyway. Some of you waited patiently. Some of you simply smiled and wished us luck.

Moments like this remind us that we’re not just serving food—we’re becoming part of an amazing community.

Thank you for your patience, your kindness, and for standing by a small family business on a really difficult day. We won’t forget it.

Our A/C is scheduled to be repaired first thing tomorrow morning, and we can’t wait to welcome you back into a cool, comfortable dining room.

Today, we met someone we’ll never forget.

His name is Dave Clark.

He walked into Pie & Dine and asked for something I honestly never imagined anyone would ask for…

A Pineapple Pot Pie.

I laughed and said,
“Are you serious?”

Because, honestly…
Who puts pineapple in a pot pie? 😂

But we made it.

Dave loved it.

Then Volkan tried it…

And to my surprise, he loved it too.

I don’t think it’s something we’ll ever add to our regular menu…

But every once in a while, someone leaves a mark on your day.

So today we decided to name it after the man who inspired it.

🥧 The Dave Clark

From now on, if you’re feeling adventurous, all you have to do is say:

“Can I have a Dave Clark?”

The funny thing is… this isn’t even the craziest thing Dave has done.

At 70 years old, he walked on the wing of an airplane.
At 77, just three months ago, he jumped out of one with a parachute.

Maybe that’s why he wasn’t afraid to ask for a Pineapple Pot Pie.

Thank you, Dave, for making today unforgettable and reminding us that life is a lot more fun when you’re willing to try something unexpected.

Here’s to curiosity, adventure, and saying “Why not?” 🤍
