Thank you Vista Investment Partners for choosing The Barn at Helm for the location of your private event last night. You supported not only our small business but Radfords, Cordial Cork & local musicians as well. It was a beautiful evening and the weather was spectacular 🙌

* Please note we will be taking a love offering for the Williamsburg Volunteer Fire Department that night & donating a portion of our profits as well. We know you’ve been hearing about the heroic efforts of our local firefighters. They worked nonstop for days & pumped over 10 million gallons of water out of basements in an effort to save residents homes. Two of their vehicles (Rescue #22 & Tanker #23 ) are now non functional & need repairs after all this. These vehicles are vital to the community for fire protection & in responding to automobile accidents. We would love to help with the repair costs. We hope you will participate in this important cause with us.

There will be a place for your donations onsite. If you are giving by check please make it out to the Williamsburg Fire Department with a memo of “Donation for repairs”.
For those who can’t be there in person or who are wanting to donate by credit card….
we have also set up a gofundme that will be transferred in entirety & full disclosure to the fire department. Here’s that link. It will be open for one week starting now.

It’s finally dry enough after 14 inches of rain to start mowing down that August 15 sunflower festival 🌻🥰 Don’t worry…it’s still beautiful here & we have lots of other flowers!! 🌻🥰💐

So sad to lose such an important icon. A beautiful voice and a great humanitarian. A shrewd businesswoman and a generous soul. So talented…did you know she wrote the big hits “Jolene” & “I will always love you” in the SAME day?! And a fun sense of humor…”it takes a lot of money to look this cheap!” She was a small town country girl who grew up with nothing, worked hard & ended up inspiring the entire world.

We will always love you Dolly ❤️
