Monday Update!

I’m in fall cleanup and next year planning mode, but we’re also working on indoor grown lettuce, and some fun off season floral offerings so stay tuned! Hoping to get more info out on those things later this week ☺️

Kind of a bummer of a Monday update 🥲

Last year we really struggled with drought, this year, it’s too wet. And what I’m coming to understand is that gardening and growing is always going to be a rollercoaster ride, and an unpredictable one. But I’m learning, and each failure, or mistake is a chance to grow better next year.

The silver lining is that I can start to devote some more time to projects that have been on the back burner for the summer. I’m excited to share some of those with you!

Farm Stand Update:

After the insane storms Tuesday, and the torrential rain Wednesday I am way behind schedule on harvesting and prep. So here’s my tentative plan:
-I have a meeting at the school this morning, but when we get back, I’m going straight to harvesting while the sun is out (hopefully)
-I’ll put together an inventory list and re-asses the weather.
-once I have an idea of what we have to stock the stand I will either 1) post instructions for placing an order for porch pickup, or 2) post a schedule for opening the stand up.

Thank you all for the wonderful support over the past month. It has far exceeded my expectations and I’m so grateful to each of you who has shared posts, left encouraging comments, and purchased our produce.

No farm stand today, sorry everyone! With the two storms coming through I don’t want to risk and more damage like we had last week.
